Great post!! I've long wanted to give Obsidian a try -- super configurable, and I dig the hashtag functionality.

You are correct, I didn't talk much about finding -- one of the reasons I've used Scrivener so devotely is that the find functionality is super fast and quite good. I should write a separate post some time about findability ... I've been thinking about it ever since reading Susan Dumais' paper on "Keeping Found Things Found" back in the early 00s ...
