Hello, Medium folks!

News from me: I’m moving my weekly “Linkfest” to a newsletter, and invite you all to subscribe with this link if you’ve been enjoying them. 📨

My slogan: It’s “the opposite of doomscrolling”. I take the best stuff I encounter online and bring it to you — science, culture, technology, and art. (Or as I wrote in a previous post, I “inhale the Internet the way a bowhead whale devours krill”, lol, filtering out the most remarkable stuff for you.) 🎁

I’ll be putting out a Linkfest once a week, more or less. I’m using Buttondown, a fantastic owner-operated newsletter service.

The newsletter is pay-what-you-want — so, folks who can afford to support it will keep it free for everyone else, win-win!

You can see the Linkfest newsletter archive here; the first issue from last week is online now (next issue drops tomorrow, woop). And you can read the 66 Linkfests I’ve published on Medium over the last year and a half, here.

If you’ve been enjoying the Linkfest, pass along word to any like-minded souls, and thank you!
