The Best COVID Mask You’ll Ever Wear

The “Envomask” is the most comfortable, tightly-sealed mask I own

The “Envomask”

Back in February of 2021, I was getting sick of not travelling for work.

I’m a magazine journalist, and during the early pandemic I’d been doing all my reporting via Zoom. It sucked. Long-form magazine reporting normally involves immersive, on-the-ground reporting. So my writing was getting dull; it’s hard to describe a profile subject with nuance when you’ve only met them through a webcam.

So I decided screw it — I’m gonna hit the road and do some in-the-field reporting. But this was February 2021; no vaccines were yet available. I wanted to be as safe as possible for myself, the people I’d be meeting, and the loved ones I’d be returning home to.

So I needed a really kick-ass mask. Specifically, I needed one that a) had a fantastically tight seal, b) used the best N95 filtering, and c) was super-comfortable for long, long hours of use.

Reader: I found one!

Behold the Envomask, from Sleepnet Corporation in New Hampshire.
