Yeah, that’s a good point. GOTO gets lots of grief, but there are *plenty* of ways to write equally inscrutable code today.

I was just writing a little web app yesterday, and while technically I’m observing best practices by keeping all the modules separated at both the server and client level, and while that allows for a certain clarity in the software’s overall structure, it is still — in its own way — somewhat spaghetti-like, within the mind, to have to keep track of all these little chunks …
