Yep yep — once there’s snow on the ground, things get treacherous for bikes pretty quickly. The center of gravity is just too high, and the contact with the road to small, to easily withstand slippery conditions.

As for winter tires for bikes — I believe there are, and I’m sure they help, but again, given the inherent physics of a two-wheeled bike, one still has gotta be pretty careful in snow, slush and ice, I’d expect …
