Yes, that's exactly right. In fact part of what got Albrecht thinking about solastalgia in the first place was not just Australians reacting to the impact on their local environment of climate change, but of runaway industrial over-development ... which is of course closely tied to climate change, since over-development can propel a lot of knock-on climate effects: Paving natural areas to make way for carbon-emitting vehicles, removing topsoil that keeps CO2-sequestering plantlife alive, etc.

So yep, it's a continuum!
